Christmas Time

So Christmas wasn't how I planned. I wanted to decorate the new house and bake and shop and enjoy this holiday time BUT the twins had other plans which put me onto 'couch potato' activity- in other words REST!

So it's been really different but the twins are doing awesome!!!

Here is a picture- we are both Italian so you can imagine how Italians have hand gesture conversations right? Well the twins are both looking at each other here and their hands are flying in the air- just like an italian conversation... this has to be the cutest picture ever!!!!

This makes monitoring a pain though- because they're on top of each other so it's hard to get good heart beats and averages.

 It has been fun getting all these packages though! Check out this adorable onesie set we got from one of the coaches on my team- Nicole

I'm going to have to bring these to the hospital for their first pictures :) 

This is sooooo true! hahaha!!!

I'm feeling pretty good these days and hanging in there till the end.

Currently C Section is scheduled for Feb 7th but we will see if they decide to come earlier!

The nursery is just about set- I will post pictures soon!

30 weeks! THE SAFE ZONE!

Hey Everyone!

It's been a while since I've posted a blog! I've been on 'couch potato' rest. Which basically means I can go to the docs office, the hospital or stay home and rest! It's quite a challenge since it's the holidays and my birthday is tomorrow.

I wouldn't say it's depressing- but I did look forward to Christmas Shopping, decorating, baking and enjoying the weekends with family and friends.

So that being said- this girl is ready for January! Never in my life have I ever said that!!! The good news is I have hit 30 weeks!!!! YAH!!!!!!!! Safe zone!!!!

I was back in the hospital last week for contractions yet again. They were killer too. I could actually feel them this time. 2-3 min apart. So I stayed overnight. No signs of labor though. We think it was linked to a low amount of water and the twins being super active.

They are extremely active!! Very difficult to get their heart rates monitored for a good 20-30 minutes. They literally run from the doppler!!  Might be anything like their dad? Eeek! He would run from the needle for his shots! So- this should be quite an experience when they get here!

Today was an ultrasound appointment- they are doing great! Both are sitting breech- so I am currently in position to have a C Section. The odds of them being able to flip at this time are very low- but lord only knows! If all goes well the doc would like to do a C section Feb 7. That is still far away!!

My gut says mid-end January though! We shall see :)

4lbs 3 oz

As you can see they are getting BIG!!!! They have lots of fun parties in my belly. Getting around the house is quite the task now. I do look forward to the next chapter- bringing them here safely and healthy and getting my body back!!!

In the meantime though Melissa my cousin has been organizing the nursery for me as I sit and just watch from the recliner. It's almost ready for them too which is exciting.

I'm very blessed to be able to work from home especially in this situation now! On that note- Back to work I go!
